Watch a cute video, help a homeless puppy

Watch a cute video, help feed a homeless dog.

Good news: Watching a cute YouTube video can actually make a dog's life a happier one.

Slacktivism has never been so adorable.

Pedigree recently launched an adoption drive in New Zealand to help homeless pups find permanent homes.

They kicked off their campaign with a very cute video, "Share for Dogs":

"We're happy to do whatever we can to be as cute as we can, because the more views we get, the more money we raise."

Because YouTube gives 55 per cent of the ad revenue to approved content creators on its site, every dollar Pedigree earns from the viral cuteness will go to feeding, treating and finding homes for homeless pups.

Sometimes it pays to be cute.
