Basic black at TIFF: Who wears it better? Angelina Jolie, Anna Faris, and Yvonne Strahovski

North Stars

Black is back! Angelina Jolie, Anna Faris, and Yvonne Strahovski all rocked the shade at the Toronto International Film Festival. Opting for gowns instead of an LBD or a patterned frock, all looked gorgeous for the cameras, but which beauty pulled the glam look off best?

First up to bat is Jolie, who attended the "Moneyball" premiere on Sept. 9 with her partner and hunkmeister general, Brad Pitt. Jolie strutted in a sleeveless, silky Vivienne Westwood number. The gown draped along the neckline and cinched at the waist. Jolie accessorized with an eye-catching Louis Vuitton gold clutch, which handcuffed to her tiny wrist (guess she doesn't have to worry about losing it).

Another "Moneyball" date was funny-girl Faris, who was on the arm of her husband, "Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt. The actress channelled her inner Greek goddess in a textured halter gown, which tied at the waist. She completed the look with large dangling earrings, matching bracelet, and a simple black clutch (which she did not handcuff to herself).

Lastly, ever wondered how an actress can get any attention with Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro hogging the red carpet? Yvonne Strahovski stole their thunder by showing some leg at the "Killer Elite" premiere on Sept. 10. The "Chuck" actress stars alongside Statham, Owen, and De Niro in the film about an ex-Navy SEAL alongside the Hollywood heartthrobs.  For the TIFF event, Strahovski donned a scooped-necked dress that hugged her figure; the sheer fabric featured a slit at the side, which revealed stunning black heels.

So, which bombshell's attire catches your eye?
