For all her jet-setting and day-tripping, Kim Kardashian rarely makes an appearance north of the border. But on Monday the reality star confirmed she will host an event at a popular Calgary nightclub early in the new year.
Jan. 4 will mark the 17th annual Iced event at the Cowboys Dance Hall, located in Stampede Park, the headquarters of the annual Calgary Stampede. The wintry event is said to include ice bars, snowy decorations, and wait staff dressed in white fur.

Kardashian is making the stop there in between two other gigs -- hosting a ritzy New Year's Eve bash in Las Vegas and filming her reality show in Miami. Still, she has somehow found the time to make the trip north to the prairies in the middle of winter, where attendees can pay as little as $29.99 for a ticket (as opposed to $125 in Vegas) to see the world's most famous 32-year-old party girl.

Her time in Cowtown will mark her second appearance in Canada in just over eight months. This past May, Kardashian stopped by Toronto to launch her jewelry line, Belle Noel. At the time, she was joined by rapper boyfriend Kanye West, even though he looked less than thrilled about it. This time, however, Kim will likely be making the trip alone, since West will be busy touring in the States and preparing for a European tour in the new year.
Winters in Calgary can be pretty harsh, so we hope that Kim knows not to expose too much skin to the freezing temperatures, much as she may want to.
