‘American Pie’ cast reunites after 11 years for ‘Reunion’ film
It's been nine years since the last "American Pie" movie (at least, the last one not released directly to DVD), but now the original stars of the hit comedy franchise have finally reunited.
Jason Biggs (Jim), Seann William Scott (Stifler), Chris Klein (Oz), Mena Suvari (Heather), Tara Reid (Vicky), and Eugene Levy (Jim's dad) were all on hand for the first photo call for "American Reunion" in Australia on Tuesday.
As Suvari vamped for the cameras in an emerald green dress, Reid chowed down on some pie from Harry's Cafe de Wheels, alongside a hungry Biggs and Levy.
"So excited to be here," Reid later tweeted.
Absent from the festivities were "American Pie" co-stars Thomas Ian Nicholas (Kevin), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Finch), Alyson Hannigan (Michelle), and Shannon Elizabeth (Nadia). But don't worry, everyone will be back for "American Reunion," which is set for release on April 6.
It's been a long time since the entire original cast has been together -- not since 2001, when they all returned for "American Pie 2." Following that, "American Wedding" saw most of the cast come back in 2003, but Suvari, Reid, and Klein did not take part.
