Courteney Cox has a hit TV show "Cougar Town," a best friend in ex-husband David Arquette, an 8-year-old daughter Coco, and two lovely dogs. How does she manage to lead such a successful life? While appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week, Cox revealed more than a few secrets -- and, well, some are more glamorous than others.
Take potty-training her dogs, for example. Having just moved into a condo building (which happens to make her DeGeneres's new neighbour), Cox was wondering how her two dogs were going to relieve themselves.
"I thought, 'How am I going to work this out?' I could walk them at 10 at night, but then what if they have to go in the middle of the night, and I can't leave Coco. So I got one of those four-by-six Pooch Potties," the 48-year-old actress explained, adding that she placed the pads on her balcony. But her plan hit another snag when the pad didn't come with anything to entice the dogs to use it.
"I just thought, to hell with it, I'm going to mark this grass. So I did," Cox admitted, adding that it did actually make one of her dogs catch on and follow her example. Unfortunately, Cox revealed the pad has to be replaced every week -- so her new sky-high neighbours might be getting to know Cox extremely intimately over the next few weeks.
But the tips didn't stop there. As for Cox's youthful-looking skin, she said she recently got a Fraxel treatment to turn her hands from those of a 95-year-old to those of a 21-year-old. And for fans going batty over her longer-than-life eyelashes, she swears by Latisse to help make them grow.
"When will they stop growing, how long will they get?" asked DeGeneres with concern. Then she pointed to Cox's shining locks and asked, "Are these part of your eyelashes?"
The only part of her life that Cox could improve on is her punctuality, because she arrived on the set of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" minutes before appearing onstage -- she even had to finish dressing during the interview!
