The JuiceNew Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men to head out on “The Package Tour”
Last week, Twitter was alight with rumours that the New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men were heading out on tour together after a Live Nation promo was leaked online.
On Jan. 22, NKOTB member Donnie Wahlberg formally announced on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” that he and his bandmates Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, Jordan and Jonathan Knight would indeed be hitting the road in 2013 on “The Package Tour.”

“We’ll have plenty of surprises,” he said. “With all those egos in one building at the same time! You know there’s going to be a lot of crazy and fun stuff going on. We’re gonna pull out a lot of surprises every night. We’re going to try and pull in as many special guests as we can, and do as many fun things as we can.”
Along with this new tour comes a new album for the ‘80s boy band called “10” to be released on April 2 with its first single “Remix (I Like The)” debuting on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Jan. 25.
Canadian fans wanting to see NKOTB, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men will have their chance when “The Package Tour” hits Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ont., on June 4, the Bell Centre in Montreal, Que., on June 6 and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ont., on June 7.

The three bands also appeared together yesterday on ABC’s “The View” and 98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey talked about what made them want to join the tour after reuniting as a band, saying, “The fans, the fun of performing together and being on stage together again.”
He also said, “Obviously, this [is a] great opportunity [and] we’ve been so inspired in our career by both of these groups. It’s surreal for us to be part of a package like this.”
