Tia Mowry debuts new pixie cut on the red carpet

The name Tia is now inseparable from the name Tamera, thanks to Mowry sisters, the world's favourite pair of '90s TV twins (besides the Olsens, of course). But now that the sisters are both 34, married, mothers, and are building their own careers, Tia has debuted a bold new haircut that makes it quite easy to tell her apart from her sister.

At the end of last month, Tia posted a photo on Instagram showing off a new cropped hairstyle, writing "Loving my new cut!" And on Thursday evening, at the 4th Annual Give & Get Fete in Los Angeles, she finally gave her new look a dramatic red carpet debut.

Dressed in a black lace gown accented with pink suede heels and a green clutch, the simple palette let Tia's new hair be crowing jewel. The event was hosted by the Style Network and Dress for Success, and Tia was joined by fellow actresses Garcelle Beauvais, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sara Rue, TV host Cat Deeley and reality star-turned fashion designer Whitney Port.

But the new haircut doesn't mean Tia's drifting away from her twin Tamera, who's due to deliver her first baby any day now. The second season of their reality show "Tia & Tamera" debuted in Canada last month on the E! Network, and on the Style Network in the United States.

Otherwise, Tia has cut her time on the small screen, having recently left her role on BET's "The Game" this past spring. She's quickly on her way to becoming one of Hollywood's best go-to moms, as the mother of Cree, her one year old son with Cory Hardrict, her husband since 2008. Her pregnancy advice book "Oh, Baby!" was released this past May.
