Many adjectives have been used to describe Jessica Alba -- "hot," "sexy," and "beautiful" being the norm -- but she is not a celebrity generally associated with ill health.

So why did she think she was having a stroke last week?

In a recent interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" about her first animated film, "Escape From Planet Earth," the 31-year-old actress admitted she called her family doctor last week in the middle of the night because she thought she was suffering a brain attack.

"It was 2:30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb and then the whole entire thing went numb and then my whole arm went numb and then I got cold a cold sensation from the back of my neck to the front and then I was like, 'I can't move my face,'" Alba told Jimmy Kimmel.

After her husband, Cash Warren, dismissed her concerns, Alba Googled the symptoms and came up with: a stroke. So the "Fantastic Four" star texted her kids' pediatrician.

"It's the only person that will answer me at 2:30 am in the morning," she explained.

The pediatrician eventually met her at his office half an hour later and told her she had all the symptoms of a stroke "if you were 50." Because Alba is two decades away from that, the doctor took her to the ER, where she and Warren proceeded to spend four hours in order to determine what had happened to her.

"Whatever! I got a CAT scan, OK?" Alba continued. After also getting an MIR, she found out the culprit: "I have carpal tunnel!"

Aside from being an actress, Alba spends a large amount of her time at the computer thanks to her e-commerce company, Honest.com, which offers healthy products for moms and their babies.

No longer in stroke territory and despite admitting that she felt "vomitous" during the show, Alba was game for a "Kimmel" kissing booth. After her interview, she smooched two women and a South African guy named Lifa.
