Bluffton motorcycle collision leaves one dead Saturday. Fault yet to be determined

One man died after his motorcycle collided with a Jeep on a busy Bluffton road.

On Saturday, 26-year-old Isnoel Reyes, of Varnville, was traveling North on Buckwalter Parkway. Once Reyes reached the intersection of the parkway and Pinellas Drive, near Parker’s and Zips Car Wash, he collided with a Jeep Wrangler that was pulling out from Pinellas Drive, according to Bluffton Police Chief Joe Babkiewicz.

Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt-force injuries. Reyes died around 1:03 p.m. Saturday, according to Deputy Coroner Shane Bowers.

The Bluffton Police Department’s accident reconstruction team is currently investigating the accident. Officials had not determined a fault as of Thursday afternoon.
