Police say that the body of a woman reported missing last month has been located in a west Windsor field.

Sahra Bulle, 36, was last seen on May 26. Her estranged husband, Brian Aaron Marbury, was charged with first-degree murder on Monday.

Bulle's body was found in the area of Northway Avenue, near Manitoba Street and Malden Road, on Tuesday, according to police.

On Thursday, police confirmed that the remains were that of Bulle.

Police say the discovery was made after an extensive ground search, and with the help of the Ontario Provincial Police canine unit.

Police say they won't release additional information about the case to "protect the integrity of the investigation."

'Beautiful daughter'

According to missing persons posters, Bulle was a student at the University of Windsor.

Bulle's mother, Fartumo Kusow, described her as a "beautiful daughter." Bulle was also a granddaughter, friend, aunt and cousin, she said.

Kusow wrote in a public Facebook post on Tuesday that she was shattered by the loss.

"I have no words to describe the depth of my sadness and height of my rage," she said.
