The body of an Arizona man who went missing several weeks ago after his truck went into the Yukon River south of Whitehorse has been found.

Knate Ostenso has been missing since Sept. 16, when the pickup truck he was in slid into the water next to the Lewes River bridge. Another occupant of the vehicle escaped and received medical treatment.

The search for Ostenso has been ongoing since then.

In a news release Tuesday, Yukon RCMP said Ostenso's body was located Monday in the river. The coroner's office is investigating.

RCMP say they are still investigating the incident and no further details will be released.
