Boil-water advisory lifted for section of Renfrew
A boil-water advisory for a section of Renfrew, Ont., was lifted Wednesday morning after a major water main break over the long weekend.
The advisory was issued Saturday evening after a drop in pressure from the town's water supply system.
The town said in a news release testing doesn't show any contaminants.
People in the area north of the Bonnechere River are asked to run cold water for a minute through taps and hoses to flush their pipes.
