"I was shaking after. Not in a bad way. Just in a disarming way," Grande told Yang on the most recent episode of his 'La Culturistas' podcast
Bowen Yang is apologizing to Ariana Grande for a smooching snafu.
On the most recent episode of his La Culturistas podcast, released Wednesday, Nov. 6, the actor and comedian — who is a cast member on Saturday Night Live and also stars alongside Grande in the upcoming Wicked movie — expressed some regrets over her recent appearance on the sketch show.
"I really have to apologize to you in person. I opened up my mouth too much when we kissed on SNL," said Yang, 34, to which Grande, 31, replied, "You absolutely did. I was shaking after."
"Not in a bad way! Just in a disarming way," she added, laughing.

The sketch in question featured Yang as the boyfriend of Grande's character's son, played by Michael Longfellow. In the middle of a competitive game night in the skit, Yang and Grande's characters shared a passionate, unexpected kiss.
"We were dropped in," Grande told Yang on his podcast. "It felt like what these people needed at that time. It felt like what these characters required. And I'm all for it."
The actress and singer served as host of SNL on Oct. 12, where she was joined by Stevie Nicks as the evening's musical guest.
Grande marked her second time as SNL host with a monologue full of celebrity impressions, as well as hilarious sketches where she impersonated the likes of Jennifer Coolidge and Céline Dion.
The "Boy Is Mine" hitmaker next appears as Glinda in the upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. Yang is also among the star-studded cast, playing Pfannee.

And Grande was a big source of support for Yang during the making of the two-part film, as Yang had to fly back and forth from London to New York City while filming both Wicked and SNL.
While filming in London, Yang stayed at a hotel in the city's King's Cross district separate from his cast mates, he revealed in a recent interview with The New Yorker.
“This cannot sound anything but name-droppy, but Ariana Grande was reaching out and going, ‘Are you OK? Come over! Let’s just watch a movie. Let’s get you better,' " he recalled. "She was there for me in a true way.”
Referring to her friend as “badass and incredible,” Grande said the nature of Yang balancing both SNL and Wicked was "a little worrisome" and something she could relate to.
"I understand what it feels like to travel back and forth so often and then have to perform the next day with no time for your body or mind to figure out what’s going on, and it is incredibly hard and unusual," she told The New Yorker. "So I just wanted to make sure he had an ear and a hug and the support he needed.”
Wicked will be released in two parts, with the first arriving in theaters on Nov. 22.
