Boy, 17, arrested after Mile End Tube station stabbing
A teenager has been arrested after a man was stabbed at Mile End Tube Station.
Police were called to the east London station shortly before 2.30pm on Thursday to reports of a man with a knife.
Armed officers attended alongside paramedics and found a man with injuries consistent with being stabbed
His injuries are believed to be life-changing, the British Transport Police said.
A boy, aged 17, has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article in a public place and affray.
He remains in police custody.
The injured man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place and affray.
A second boy aged 17 has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article in a public place, and affray. He remains in police custody.
