How to make braised short ribs

Thanks for watching Its Only Food w/Chef John Politte. In this video we are showing you how to make Soy Braised Short Ribs. Mix beef broth, soy sauce, pear, honey, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and salt in a bowl. Set aside 3 Tablespoons for later. Pour the larger amount of sauce into a slow cooker and set ribs meat side down into the sauce and cover. Cook on high for 4 hours or low heat for 6 hours. Or any time combination you wish. When ribs are done cooking, preheat oven broiler to 450 degrees F. Transfer the ribs to a sheet pan-brush the ribs with the reserved sauce from earlier, and broil for 5-10 minutes until the meat is slightly crispy. Sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice. Enjoy!
