Man, 23, shot and killed in Brampton parking lot
An overnight shooting in Brampton has claimed the life of a 23-year-old man.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to Masta's Lounge at 284 Orenda Rd., near Dixie Road, at about 4:36 a.m. Officers from 21 Division found a male victim in the parking lot, suffering from one or more gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
The victim was a 23-year-old Brampton resident. Police are talking to witnesses and have asked anyone with information to come forward.

A similar incident occurred earlier in the night a parking lot outside the Habibi Lounge in Mississauga, where another man was found shot, again by 21 Division, and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
A third incident overnight saw two men stabbed in a parking lot in Vaughan, one of whom later died.
