There are many advantages and opportunities when you play for the New York Rangers. It’s actually impressive that the individuals lucky enough to lace up their skates for the Original Six franchise have the time to focus on hockey with so much going on in New York City.

Former NHLer Brandon Prust played 190 of his career’s 486 regular season games with the team and according to his interview on this week’s episode of the Jack & Soph podcast with hosts Jackie Redmond and Sophia Jurksztowicz, it was a blast.

The attention and pressure that comes with being a professional athlete is difficult; however, this is a good reminder that the benefits that come with the job are pretty wicked.

Hearing about these perks is also a good way to become extremely jealous.
