Brantford under evacuation order as water levels rise across southern Ontario

While spring is still a few weeks away, warmer than average temperatures have resulted in flooding across many towns in southern Ontario. Brantford saw 4,900 residents in three neighbourhoods evacuated due to high floodwaters and is currently under a state of emergency. London, St. Mary's and Cambridge have also seen water levels rise, although not enough for a state of emergency to be called yet.
