Brazilians demand Bolsonaro's ouster in protest

Brazilians have grown increasingly irate at the slow pace of Brazil's vaccine rollout, which has been blighted by few vaccines to inoculate the country's 210 million people.

Many of those at the protest touted the impeachment of the right-wing leader in order to save lives during the pandemic.

Bolsonaro, a former army captain, has sought to minimise the gravity of the virus and even said he won't take any COVID-19 vaccine, stoking growing anti-vaccine sentiment.

As of Saturday, Brazil has registered over 16.4 million coronavirus cases and nearly 460,000 deaths.
