Break-in at St. John's home 'targeted,' say police

Restaurant employee arrested, charged after incident in east end of St. John's

Police believe a break-in at a west end home in St. John's Thursday afternoon was "targeted."

RNC officers and a K9 unit responded to the residence around 2 p.m. after a report of a forcible entry.

The suspects left the area in a vehicle before officers arrived on scene, according to police.

No injuries were reported by the people living in the home.

The RNC's major crime unit is continuing to investigate.
