A 46-year-old man turned himself into Queens County District RCMP December 18, a day after an arrest warrant was issued.

Queens district RCMP obtained a warrant for the arrest of Chad Ashley Beals, who was charged with fraud-related offenses in Molega, Queens County.

The Bridgewater man was charged with one count each of false pretenses greater than $5,000, fraud less than $5,000 and failure to appear in court.

In a news release issued December 17, the RCMP stated that they had made several attempts to locate Beals, with no success. They requested assistance from the public to help find him. He was believed to be somewhere in the Halifax area at the time.
