The Brighton Public Library’s Codrington branch is set to reopen April 6.

The Brighton Public Library board has announced the library will open at 9:30 a.m. and staff will have protocols in place as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

“We thank you for your continued patience and we look forward to serving you once again, in person,” said Heather Ratz, Brighton Public Library CEO.

Here’s what visitors to the Codrington branch can expect:

Masks are required to be worn and staff will ask for contact information at the door.

One person or one group, not including the staff member, is permitted to be in the library at one time.

One public computer station will be available.

Extra cleaning and sanitization protocols are in place, the CEO noted.

Returns will be accepted in the outdoor book drop only.

The hours of operation are Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – during the Codrington Farmers’ Market.
