British Columbia declares provincial state of emergency as wildfires grow

Nearly 300 fires are burning across the province, and according to Sarah Hall, an information officer with the BC Wildfire Service, 90 fires are classified as out of control. Hall explains one concern is weather patterns that can lead to more extreme fire behaviour. She urges the public to follow all necessary guidelines.
