Roosters, a chicken-themed restaurant at Broadway at the Beach, is temporarily closed as of Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. A sign announcing the closure was posted on one of the doors. It’s unclear why the eatery shuttered.

Rooster’s Restaurant & Bar at 1320 Celebrity Circle was empty Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. A small sign on the door made the announcement.

It’s unclear why the eatery is closed right now. The sign said Rooster’s was closed, but patrons could go to the eatery’s sister establishment, American Taphouse. Broadway at the Beach Marketing Director Melissa Armstrong did not return a request for comment.

While Rooster’s is closed for now, new businesses have recently opened at Broadway at the Beach. A new brewery and ice cream sandwich place opened at the retail center during the 2024 spring, which followed a vegan soft serve eatery that opened its doors at Broadway at the Beach The Sun News reported on in February 2024.
