BROCK: Township of Brock Mayor Debbie Bath-Hadden updated residents on her health status, at a meeting on Monday, October 26th.

Mayor Bath-Hadden was chairing the virtual meeting for the first time since September 21st. She said a few weeks ago she went to a local hospital with “a pain and breathing issue.”

“I was diagnosed with severe back pain at that time, through EMS and the [emergency room] doctors. I experienced two or three days of back and forth. They kept me for a couple days to find out that I’m experiencing acute pneumonia,” she said.

The mayor said she is on the path to recovery from it, but it will still take some time still.

“I’d really like to thank our residents and all those who have reached out to me. There are far too many of you, who have sent well wishes for me, to personally thank each and every one of you,” Mayor Bath-Hadden stated.
