BROCKTON – Items of interest from the Oct. 13 Brockton council meeting:

• The Walkerton Lawn Bowling Club has requested a letter of support for its grant application to build a new storage shed and purchase additional equipment. The New Horizons for Seniors grant would be for $25,000.

• Sarah Johnson has graduated, with honours, from the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario diploma program in municipal administration.

• Coun. Kym Hutcheon said he was “very disappointed” to hear of Saugeen Conservation’s decision regarding Shannon Wood and Catherine Billings.

“I would like to see continued support from Brockton for the swamp tours 2021 project,” she said.
