Brody Jenner Shaded Caitlyn Jenner for Bailing on His Wedding at the Last Minute

• Caitlyn apparently had better things to do.

Ever since she left Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner's kept a relatively low profile, except for when it comes to her strained relationships with her children. Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have both had some drama with Caitlyn in the past few years, and now Brody Jenner is opening up about his and Caitlyn's strained relationship and how Caitlyn skipped his wedding last summer.

On Monday's episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, the MTV star went to dinner with his brother Brandon Jenner and their mom, Linda Thompson. When the subject of Brody's marriage to Kaitlynn Carter came up, he said, "Not having my dad at the wedding, it was a bummer."

He added, "Honestly, it really did hurt and I would have loved to have had her there. But she had better things to do. Apparently.”

Okay, so by now you're definitely wondering, "WTH. What was more important than going to Brody's wedding?" Well, it seems Caitlyn couldn't make it out to the ceremony in Indonesia because she was in Austria at an amfAR event. (amfAR is a foundation that's comitted to finding a cure for HIV/AIDS.)

In Caitlyn's defense, that does sound like a solid reason to miss a wedding, but Brody's wife said it was more about how Caitlyn handled it. She said, "Right before our wedding, Brody’s dad canceled on coming to the wedding, like a week before." Okay, yeah that's not great! Also, Caitlyn apparently went to the "pre-wedding festivities" in April, so they probably expected her to say she couldn't go to the actual wedding much earlier in the year.

Brody then added that his and Caitlyn's relationship has always been iffy and that he tends to lean on his mom, who told him, "You’re not wrong to be angry and to feel slighted. But you’ve just got to let it go.”

Yikes. Hopefully Brody's able to move past this!
