New Brunswick weather: cool and wet

It will be a rainy day across New Brunswick with showers or rain expected to begin this morning and continue through the overnight hours before skies finally clear on Wednesday morning, according to Environment Canada.

Temperatures will be well below the normal high of 19 C for this time of the year, reaching only 8 C to 10 C on Tuesday and 7 C to 12 C on Wednesday.

Environment Canada says in southern New Brunswick, Tuesday will be cloudy with five millimetres of rain and a high of 10 C.

On Wednesday more rain expected and a high of 7 C.

For Fredericton and area Tuesday will be a rainy day with 10 millimetres expected and a high of just 8 C. Rain will end during the morning on Wednesday with a high of 11 C.

In northern New Brunswick showers will begin on Tuesday morning with a high of 10 C. Overnight the rain will continue with the possibility of wet snow over higher terrain and a low of 3 C.

On Wednesday in northern New Brunswick the rain and snow will end in the morning with a high getting up to 12 C.
