New Brunswick weather: Spring's arrival brings seasonal temperatures

It will be mainly sunny across New Brunswick on this first day of spring, with temperatures in their normal range for this time of year.

Afternoon highs will reach 2 C in most of the province, according to CBC meteorologist Peter Coade.

However, the temperature probably won't rise above –2 C in some areas along the coast of northern New Brunswick.

Northwest wind will become light this morning.

It will become cloud over this afternoon in the southwest.

Friday night will be partly cloudy across the province, but skies will clear before morning. Low temperatures will range from –4 C to –10 C.

Saturday will cloud over with scattered flurries developing late in the day.

In southern New Brunswick, there could be as much as five centimetres of snow by Saturday night.
