New Brunswick weather: Sun and warm temperatures expected on Thursday

There's a mix of sun and cloud in the forecast for the province, with showers developing in the evening, according to CBC meteorologist Jim Abraham.

Abraham said the high temperature for most of the province should reach 30 C on Thursday.

It should be a bit cooler along the coast, where the high temperature will be about 23 C.

After a warm day, Abraham said cloud and rain is expected to develop in the evening and into Friday.

"A trough of low pressure over the St. Lawrence valley will spread cloud and showers across New Brunswick tonight and the rest of the Maritimes on Friday," said Abraham.

The low temperature is expected to be 16 C.
