New Brunswick weather: Sunny and cold day expected

Wednesday will be a mostly sunny day without much wind, however CBC meteorologist Peter Coade says it will remain colder than normal with afternoon highs of 0 C.

"Temperatures will be much colder than the normal in most communities," Coade said.

He says the centre of this fair weather feature will slide to the southeast, bringing more mild air to the region.

"By the latter part of the week, we will be back up to the normal and by Friday above normal with temperatures higher than 10 C expected in some communities."

Those warmer temperatures will bring some rain or showers to end the week and start the weekend.

"Initially the precipitation will be wet — that is showers or rain developing in northern New Brunswick Friday evening but if the colder air returns before the rain moves out we could be looking at some snow in many areas over the weekend," he said.
