New Brunswick weather: Thursday will be sunny and warm

Thursday will be another mostly sunny day across New Brunswick with above normal high temperatures of 26 C, according to CBC meteorologist Peter Coade.

"The ridge of high pressure that returned the sunshine yesterday will slowly move to our southeast today giving us another mostly sunny day and by moving to the southeast will bring about a southerly wind which in turn will draw
warmer air across the region," he said.

Showers will move in on Friday, beginning in northwestern New Brunswick before daybreak and advancing south throughout the day with about six hours of wet weather expected.

"This band of showers will clear the area before daybreak on Saturday thus we can expect a sunny Saturday but the same can't be said for Sunday."

Coade says another disturbance will move in from the west to bring rain to New Brunswick on Sunday morning
