Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a Tamarac apartment building Wednesday night.
Around 6 p.m., deputies arrived at the building, located at the 8900 block of NW 78th Street, responding to a report about a domestic incident, BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman said in a statement.
Deputies found a man with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead by Tamarac Fire Rescue paramedics, Grossman said.
Deputies detained one person, who the sheriff’s office noted is cooperating with detectives.
“BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate, and the investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing,” Grossman said.
