BTS's "ON" Music Video: Marching Bands, Dance Breaks, and More

Rejoice BTS fans, as the moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived. The group's new album, Map of the Soul: 7 is here, and after reportedly crashing TikTok with their newest single, the seven-member Korean group has released a brand new music video for the album's lead single "ON."

In true BTS fashion, the music video is no ordinary visual. The video is officially titled ''ON" Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima, and it features BTS alongside 30 dancers and 12 marching band members, performing some seriously incredible dance moves. As Billboard pointed out, the video features the members in black and white outfits, which further propels the narrative of shadows contained on the album.

Fans also noted the video's ties to the track's lyrical content, pointing out that as the group sings of using pain as a motivator and overcoming hardships together, the visuals reflect that task. "At the end when they sang 'bring the pain on' and all of them had their hands over each other as if saying 'bring the pain on and we're still going to be alright because we have each other,'" one person pointed out. Another fan was at a loss for words, writing, "The entire song is about them saying 'we know your pain, we emerged from it all a fighter, reach out and we will be with you through your pain' and I'm just."

As fans continued to celebrate the release and explore the video for continuing messages of significance, an ARMY made sure to note how truly special the release was. "What I admire about BTS is that they always bring uniqueness to the table. Each BTS album that has come out so far has been different and unique. And as usual, MOTS: 7 is so different in music and style," the fan wrote. And with a group that's continued to surpass every musical record and embrace an identity that's wholly their own, it's definitely true that we can never know what to expect from BTS. What a gift.
