BTS Teaches a Squad Pic Master Class

A Fit Pic is when one person either (A) takes a picture of themselves in a mirror or (B) humbles themselves to ask a passerby or partner to flick them up while wearing a Big Fit. The Squad Pic is a totally different beast: you and a couple of your most stylish boys all put on Big Fits and get together to take a photo bursting at the seams with great fit energy. Some of the most famous photos in existence are Squad Pics: The Last Supper, or that image of Virgil Abloh, Kanye West, and Don C at Paris Fashion Week in the late aughts.

The magic of a group like BTS is that they’re always taking Squad Pics. Here, they are positioned in a beautiful elementary school class photo arrangement. The Squad Pic really gives each member the opportunity to bounce off of everyone else’s fit, putting their style into contrast or harmony with everyone else’s. V, for example, is wearing a big coat with a super-sized collar, like a high-fashion priest. Two spots to the left, Jimin chases an all-American look with a varsity jacket. SUGA, bottom right, and J-Hope, top middle, hit different keys of turtlenecked looks. Take it from BTS, fellas, there are multiple ways to wear a turtleneck.
