Building Materials Fly Off Brooklyn Rooftop During Storm Isaias

Tropical Storm Isaias lashed the US East Coast on August 4, bringing tornadoes, dangerous winds, and heavy rain, and leaving millions without power.

Footage shot by New Yorker Serge Morrell in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint shows building materials on a rooftop blowing away during the storm.

Morrell told Storyful the materials were being used to build a garden on the roof and “were secured by bricks which were blown off by the wind.”
