SINGAPORE — Bukit Timah Market & Food Centre is among five new locations added by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to the list of public places visited by COVID-19 cases in the community recently.

The other locations are Family First Chiropractic Clinic, Hvala and FairPrice Finest at 111 Somerset, and FairPrice Finest at Bukit Panjang Plaza.

The dates visited in the list were from 28 July to 8 August, the MOH said on Tuesday (11 August).

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the MOH added.

The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.

On the same day, the MOH confirmed 61 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Tuesday noon, taking the country’s total case count to 55,353.
