Burger King coming to Trenton

Redberry Crown Restaurants is excited to announce that they are nearing completion of a new Burger King restaurant in Trenton.

Founded in 2005, Redberry Restaurants is one of the largest and fastest-growing quick-service restaurant franchisees in Canada, with 112 Burger King restaurants and 22 Pizza Hut restaurants across the country.

In December 2019, Redberry Restaurants announced an area development partnership with the Burger King Corporation to develop 103 new Burger King restaurants in Ontario and Manitoba within the next five years.

Construction is set to finish at the end of March, with the opening of the new Burger King location scheduled for early April.

“Trenton was selected for the new Burger King restaurant because of its location along the 401 and its proximity to Prince Edward County and the Trent-Severn area,” said Redberry director of marketing Shannon Fry. “Trenton is close to our current geographical footprint including our restaurants in Belleville, Kingston, Lindsay, Brockville and other locations across eastern Ontario. Trenton has a vibrant business and residential community, and currently does not have a Burger King restaurant.”

Located at 33 Monogram Place, the new restaurant will be approximately 1800 square feet with a drive-thru lane and is hiring immediately. Burger King Trenton will be hiring 30-40 part and full-time team members for all positions and asks residents interested in applying to email a resume to careers@redberry.ca with the subject line “Trenton”.
