A former school bus driver for a suburban high school is being accused of inappropriately grabbing and kissing a 15-year-old female student on the hand. The teen's report "triggered an extensive investigation," which included a review of surveillance video footage from the bus.
Ex-Coach Admits To Soliciting Child Porn From Teen Girl
The former assistant girls track coach, who resigned the same day he was arrested, will serve at least 15 years in prison. Starting in 2022, he used Snapchat and Telegram to communicate with a 14-year-old girl, authorities said. He instructed her on sexually explicit videos that he wanted her to record and send him in exchange for money, according to the plea agreement.
Masked Gunman Robs Bank, Nearby Schools Locked Down
Police said a man pointed what appeared to be a semiautomatic pistol at bank employees. He remains at large. Authorities said he was wearing a COVID-style mask and carrying a backpack.
Stranded Kindergartners, Bus Issues Leave Parents Furious
"Buses never showed up to pick up kids," one parent told Patch. "Kids were left standing at the school, waiting for buses that never showed up. Kids were put on buses, and the buses drove around the neighborhood for an hour and a half to two hours. Parents were calling asking where their kids were."

A 911 caller said a man had rear-ended his car and then fled on foot. He was able to provide a description of the man, who was later apprehended with help from the police dog. Axel tracked the man for nearly two miles.
