It’s a desirable concept: dropping everything to move to a different country to live a simple yet fulfilling life–one that involves activities like reading in a quaint café and buying freshly baked bread. If this scenario has ever crossed your mind, now might be the time to make it a reality. Bisaccia is the latest Italian town to put dozens of homes on the market for only one euro (yes, just one!).

OK, here's the catch: These homes need a lot of love. The town, which is in Italy’s southern Campania region, is selling 90 broken-down homes in an effort to save the dying area. After high emigration and a series of earthquakes in 1980, the town needs people to renovate these buildings and revamp the community.

Many other Italian towns in need of a makeover have been offering a similar deal for months now, but Bisaccia’s situation is different. It involves a more communal investment instead of individual projects. "The abandoned [area] spreads throughout the most ancient part of the village. Forsaken houses are clustered together, one next to the other along the same roads. Some even share a common entrance,” the town's deputy mayor Francesco Tartaglia told CNN Travel. "That's why we welcome families, groups of friends, relatives, people who know each other or investors to join forces. We encourage them to buy more than just one house to actually have an impact and breathe new life."

Unlike the other Italian towns offering this incentive, buying a cheap home in Bisaccia comes with a bit more freedom. There’s no specific investment (a down payment that will eventually be paid back) or a time frame in which the home has to be renovated. Buyers can also purchase the homes directly from the town. No need to deal with the original owners! Who doesn’t love a smooth-sailing purchase?

Now, if only they were able to throw in unlimited pizza for a year. That'd be a game changer.
