Buzzfeed bashes B.C.'s record-breaking warm weather
The record-breaking high temperatures around the province have turned B.C. into a 'grisly, godawful hellhole', according to Buzzfeed.
The tongue-in-cheek article posted Thursday to the popular online site, uses a selection of images posted to social media that show B.C. in all its sunny, blooming glory, and displays them under the headline, '21 Reasons You Won’t Want To Visit British Columbia Right Now'.
The "reasons" include such pithy provocations as, "Because the stupid sprouting greenery is blocking most of it," and, "The balmy temperatures have ruined everything".
Still, at least one commentator on the story has felt the need to ask if it's sarcastic.
With the East Coast suffering a monumental deep freeze this winter, images of British Columbians out and about enjoying themselves in the sunshine have proven a bitter pill for some.
Still, many West Coasters would gladly welcome a wave of the cold white stuff if it meant they could get some decent skiing in this season.
