A Calgary mother and her three children who were reported missing in Brampton have been found safe and sound in Toronto, Peel Regional Police say.
Oluseun Ogunfadebo, 34, and her three children were located at about 1 p.m. on Saturday. They were reported missing by Ogunfadebo's husband, who called Peel police at 12:20 a.m.
Ogunfadebo is with her two adopted daughters, 8 and 6, and her biological son, 3. She had been last seen in Brampton.
Const. Bancroft Wright, spokesperson for Peel Regional Police, said there were no safety concerns but police were treating the case as a missing persons report.
Wright said no foul play had been suspected.
Wright said the case did not involve any kind of domestic situation. Peel police had talked to Calgary police about the case, he said.
For their part, Calgary police had talked to the husband to gather information that might have helped in the search.
Wright said it's not known when she was supposed to return or how long the trip to Brampton was supposed to last.
