An emergency evacuation order has been partially lifted for residents of the northern Alberta community of Wabasca. They're among about 5,000 Albertans forced from their homes by wildfires raging across the province. The fire in the area continues to burn but firefighters have been able to keep it from spreading. Alberta Sustainable Resource Development currently reports 70 fires burning in Alberta, with 20 of those fires classified as "out of control."

Calgary's police commission is reviewing the city's Automated Traffic Enforcement Program — more commonly known as the photo radar and red light camera program. One area that the commission will be looking into will be tickets issued to police officers. In 2014, more than 1,500 tickets were issued to police officers.
