Calgary officer charged with impaired driving while off-duty

An off-duty member of the Calgary Police Service was charged with impaired driving Tuesday night.

Police say the officer, Staff Sgt. Rod Harbridge, was charged shortly after 9 p.m. by Airdrie RCMP.

Harbridge has been with CPS for 37 years.

Calgary police say he has been relieved from duty, which will be reviewed within 30 days.
