Calgary Police investigate homicide in Legacy after residents report man shot in car
Calgary police are at the scene of a homicide they say happened around 3:50 p.m. in the southeast community of Legacy.
The Calgary Police Service says officers were called to a park near the intersection of Legacy Parade and Legacy Lane S.E. after area residents reported a person in a vehicle had been shot.
One man was found dead at the scene.
Officers are currently searching for suspects and are collecting evidence at the scene.
Calgary police say at this point it appears the shooting was targeted.
