Police are asking for tips from the public as they try to identify two men believed to be connected to a fatal shooting in southeast Calgary two years ago.

Matthew Maniago was shot on Oct. 7, 2019, around 11:45 p.m. in the McKenzie Lake neighbourhood.

The 29-year-old was found lying in the street in the 100 block of Mt. Aberdeen Manor S.E. and died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police released photos on Thursday of two men who are considered persons of interest in Maniago's death.

Anyone who can identify the men is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or contact Crime Stoppers.

Police are still looking for a white Honda CRV, circa 2007-09, that was believed to be involved in the shooting.
