Calgary police are asking for help in identifying who was in a car involved in a shooting on Glenmore Trail on Sunday night.

Officers were called to the eastbound lanes of the busy roadway, near the Macleod Trail intersection, around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting involving the occupants of two cars.

"Officers located one of the vehicles, a grey Honda Civic, pulled over nearby," reads a police news release.

"The driver, a man in his 20s, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition."

Police hope other drivers in the area at the time have information or dashcam footage that could help the investigation. The only description of the other vehicle is a silver sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
