During a panel appearance at the annual Hearties Family Reunion fan event on Saturday, Sept. 14, McGarry, 39, confirmed that he and Wallace, 35, tied the knot. In a video from the event, shared on Instagram by the fan account Suspenders Unbuttoned, the panel host can be heard remarking to McGarry, "You've got a ring on your finger. I hope it's not a prop."
The actor said "no" and held up his hand to show off the ring as the audience clapped and cheered the news.

McGarry and Wallace first met on the set of the long-running Hallmark show in 2018, when they both joined the series for season 6, which aired in the spring of 2019. He was cast as Nathan Grant, one of Hope Valley's mounties, and she played Fiona Miller for five seasons before being written off the show ahead of season 11 due to scheduling conflicts.

Shortly after wrapping production on season 8, McGarry appeared to confirm their relationship on Instagram in November 2020. He posted a photo of two coffee cups on a counter, surrounded by Polaroid photos of himself and Wallace together. He coyly captioned the post, "Photo evidence. 📸."
Two years later, just before Christmas in December 2022, McGarry and Wallace announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post featuring a clip of the couple kissing, set to The Beatles classic "In My Life." Wallace wrote in the caption, "Forever ❤️."
In a March 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, McGarry shared that he and Wallace bonded early on over their mutual love of music. “We always play. We’ll play music together," he said. “That’s how it all started actually. We, you know, collaborated ... we do that all the time."
He teased at the time that he might even jump onstage and sing at the couple's wedding. “There’s always a chance,” McGarry told ET. “Champagne, I imagine, is being served so ... there’s a chance that could happen.
McGarry also revealed a few details about their wedding plans, saying he and Wallace had "talked about” destination weddings but ultimately decided to keep the event in Canada since their families are there.
He told ET the pair — who have starred together in two Hallmark Channel movies, Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas List — intended to exchange personal, handwritten vows. “You know you’ve got an audience. You gotta throw a joke or two in there,” he said.

McGarry also promised that the wedding guest list would include a few of their When Calls the Heart costars. “It’s going to be intimate, but I know there will be a couple of familiar faces there,” he said.
McGarry and Wallace are just one of several couples to find real-life love thanks to the show, which first premiered in 2019. Back in April, series lead Erin Krakow told PEOPLE she thinks the show has sparked some cast romances because "there's just always been a bit of magic in Hope Valley."
"There's something so special about our show and the energy in Jamestown [British Columbia, Canada], where we shoot," she added.
