Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes may have started their relationship thanks to their chart-topping song “Señorita,” but that doesn’t mean they always have to perform it together. Cabello took the stage solo at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night, performing the song sans Mendes.

“Shawn isn't here tonight, so I'm going to need you to help me sing this chorus,” she told the crowd in Las Vegas.

Cabello and Mendes recently confirmed their relationship after months of well-documented PDA. Still, many on the Internet are claiming that the relationship is merely for publicity, a rumor that Mendes recently spoke about.

While chatting with a photographer at LAX, Mendes was asked, “Look, one last thing, some people say that it’s a publicity stunt, and you say…”

“We’re definitely not a publicity stunt,” Mendes said.

He also revealed that he’s met Cabello’s parents, saying that he’s “known [them] for a long time.”

Cabello has also opened up about their relationship, telling Elle that she’s fallen in love again this year.

“Honestly, this past year and a half was the first time I really experienced falling in love with another person. I think there is so much more depth to love when you know you are in it with another person. You have so much more to say—I think that’s what makes me emotional,” she said. “I’ve loved people from afar, but falling in love with someone and having feelings for someone but they don’t know.... It’s different.”
