Canada election: O'Toole says he would allow foreign companies to compete in Canadian market for cell phone, Internet service if elected

Conservative Party Leader Erin O'Toole in Ottawa on Tuesday announced that if elected, he would allow foreign companies to compete in the Canadian market for cell phone and Internet service. He said those companies would have to be from countries that allow Canadian providers to compete in their markets. O'Toole said that currently Canadians pay some of the highest cell phone and Internet service prices in the world.
